The Chennai Bangalore Expressway, an estimated 5000 crore project, now increased to 7000 crore, due to delay, is the proposed expressway between the cities of Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Bangalore (Karnataka). It will have 6 lanes and will run 262 km from Sriperumbudur to Hoskote, allowing vehicles to zoom at least 120 kms/ hr. This express way will pass through Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Karnataka. The toll road will be on a Design-Build-Finance-Operate pattern and is expected to be ready in next 5 years. The expressway which will start from Sripurumbudur, pass through Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Chittoor, Kolar and end in Hoskote.
What is in store, for us in this new expressway ?
Apart from travelling to BLR from CHN, vice versa, with less than 3 hours by road, this gives a tremendous opportunity to invest in plots, lands in near by areas, aligning the greenfield corridor. The areas aligning to this 6 way lanes will get a major boost in their valuations, and if one is ready to stay invested for at least 3 years, of time, its a jackpot.
Already, there are many companies planning to set up their industrial manufacturing unit, like Bajaj, Mahindra, Nissan in this road, as it link harbors. Last weekend, there was a notification in leading newspaper, mentioning the survey numbers, where the road is coming up, in Tamil Nadu. Sriperumbudur, is again in focus, for major investments. Once can closely look into outskirts of Sriperumbudur, and invest near to the 6 lanes for quick appreciation.
